Living in the Blue Zones

Add ten years to your life. Reduce the risk of disease. Discover your own fountain of youth.

Our new "Living in the Blue Zones" course can help the people in your organization live longer, healthier, happier lives.

This fast-paced, interactive workshop uses both science and storytelling to uncover the lifestyle habits of "super seniors" in the Blue Zones, areas where people live unusually long and healthy lives.

In just one hour, participants will:
  • Visit three Blue Zones (via DVD)
  • Discover how to calculate their current life expectancy
  • Receive a proven lifestyle plan to add ten healthy years to their lives

In addition to the DVD, the complete "Living in the Blue Zones" package includes a leader's guide, a PowerPoint presentation, and participant handouts.

Empower your people to create their own Blue Zone of longevity and vitality. The course will be available to preview or order, including new videos from Dan's latest living-longer studies in Costa Rica, in the summer of 2008.

Our Partner

The information and inspiration for this course comes from Dan Buettner, a National Geographic writer and the founder of Quest Network, Inc.

Dan has teamed up with leading scientists on health, wellness and aging--and with institutions such as The National Institute on Aging and the University of Minnesota School of Public Health--to study the diet, stress-coping mechanisms and outlook of the longest-lived people in the world.

Dan's article, "The Secrets of Living Longer," was the cover story for National Geographic in November 2005. He's also discussed his work on several national TV shows, including CNN's "Anderson Cooper 360" and ABC's "Good Morning America."
