On October 11th, 2025, Dr. David Guralnick gave an online invited talk on “Reimagining the Future of Learning with AI and New Technologies,” to students and faculty at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) in Suzhou, China. This talk followed his recent presentation in Rome and continued the dialogue on AI’s role in learning experiences and the future of education.

The Learning Ideas Conference’s Summer Course Returns to Greece in June 2026

The Learning Ideas Conference (TLIC) will return to Ioannina, Greece on June 23rd to 25th, 2026 for its annual live, in-person summer course, presented by Kaleidoscope Learning and organized in collaboration with the Laboratory of New Technologies and Distance Learning at the School of Education, University of Ioannina. The 2026 summer course, titled “AI, Teaching, and Learning,” will explore how artificial intelligence is transforming teaching, learning, and the design of educational experiences. A paper publication opportunity is also available for registered participants.

Call for Proposals Opens for The Learning Ideas Conference 2026

The Learning Ideas Conference 2026 (TLIC 2026), presented by Kaleidoscope Learning, has opened its call for proposals for its 19th annual event that will feature both virtual and in-person presentations, with hybrid sessions taking place on June 10th-12th, 2026, in New York and online. Educators, researchers, practitioners, consultants, technologists, administrators, and learning professionals from across the globe are invited to submit ideas, research, and innovations to participate in this global hybrid conference on workplace learning and higher education. Additional online-only days will also be announced.
